There are no costs associated with an initial online discovery call, regardless of whether it leads to a coaching program. The average number of sessions is 4 to 8, each lasting 1.5 hours. The number of sessions depends on the number of questions and the level of development achieved during the coaching program. It is also possible to schedule a single coaching session at a time.

There's ample opportunity for you to share your story and explain the reason for your coaching. I'll help you agree on concrete goals that we can use to monitor your development. I'll also explain in detail how I can effectively help you progress through insights, exercises, and assignments. This way, you'll know where you stand when you embark on a coaching program with me.

If both parties feel comfortable working together, I will prepare a quote outlining your objectives, the terms and conditions, and the costs we discussed verbally at the end of the meeting.

How do I work as an executive coach/ organizational psychologist?

During the process we work at 3 levels, namely: 1) behaviour and skills, 2) personality/ego and 3) soul/spiritual experiences. Why? Because only working on behaviour and skills will not enable you to deal with your own foundation, which means that old (work) behaviour can reoccur easily.

1. Behaviour & skills

We map out your behaviour and choices using your practical situations and feedback from me, in my capacity as coach, and others. And the effect they have on you and your surroundings. Theoretical models and accompanying hand-outs give you more insight into your behaviour and the alternatives that are much more productive. I can also coach you in communication or management skills that support your learning goals. My extensive experience enables me to help you with practical perspectives and exercises in the fields of coaching, conflict management, negotiations and enhancing your personal profile.

2. Personality/ego

You can mow the grass (‘behaviour’), but if you don’t deal with the roots it will just come back. This is why my coaching increases your awareness of the origin and effect of your personality on your learning goals. I use the Psychology of Selves and Voice Dialogue, a method I was trained in by the founders Hal & Sidra Stone. This leads you to new self-generated choices that fundamentally stimulate and support your development.

3. Soul experiences

Some experiences can deeply affect you. Think of conflicts or lawsuits that don't do you justice, being sidelined by the Supervisory Board, the loss of tasks, authority, or responsibilities, or even the loss of your position or job. Or other personal experiences in your private life that influence your attitude, behavior and choices at work. In those cases, it's important to carefully examine these and see how you can approach them differently from now on

Sometimes you want more peace of mind, and I can support you with various short theoretical insights and exercises. Moreover, I can help you rediscover passion and meaning in what inspires you and put it into practice. You'll immediately experience renewed energy and vitality.

Location

The Discovery meeting will be online. The coaching sessions themselves will generally also take place online.

You can, of course, also schedule in-person appointments if I'm in your area or in the Netherlands. However, I do charge a 30% premium over the current rates for these appointments. This is due to the additional logistics and travel time (often an average of two 1-hour extra travel times; fuel and maintenance costs, and room rental for coaching sessions).

I provide coaching in three ways:

Coachhouse

Face-face coachings take place in the Coachhuis near CS Station in The Hague, Alphen aan den Rijn, Alkmaar and in Amsterdam (near the Olympic Stadium) and Utrecht (depending on what is available). You will of course be informed in advance where that is.

On site

In The Hague, Amsterdam, Haarlem, Alkmaar or Utrecht I come to your office room if you can reserve a suitable coaching room there.

Online

Online coaching are provided via Teams, Zoom, or WhatsApp, or whatever is possible for you.
